Applied Science & Humanities is often referred to as the basic engineering discipline because whatever field of engineering one wishes to major in, the basics of subject come in handy in the effective design and development. Applied Science and Humanities also plays a significant role in all types of engineering course.

The department is well equipped with highly qualified and experienced faculty and supporting staff. As a quest for continuous improvement, the department is always on their toes to organize conferences, workshops, training programs etc. for the faculty and students. The department is encouraging the students to take up unique projects with more thrust on industry defined projects during their final year.

Hello students! The Department of Applied Sciences works for the strong foundation stone of the budding engineers in the field of basic sciences which helps them to have better understanding of the studies during the following years of their courses, they have chosen. The inclusion of subjects of Applied Sciences such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Fundamental Computers/Electronics/Mechanics and Communication Skills in engineering is mandatory. The well qualified and seasoned faculty to guide the students in every domain of technical education making them familiar with all areas.

All laboratories are fully functional with the latest equipments and the students are encouraged to not only follow the prescribed syllabus rather go beyond regular academics and explore new areas and understanding of the subject. The department is leaving no stone unturned in providing the best of facilities to our budding technocrats and attain wavering success in life ahead.

The Department of Applied Sciences is the base of all engineering studies, aiming to provide the basic knowledge of all the branches related to the engineering mind-set of students. The subjects of Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics, and Engineering Chemistry & Environmental Sciences are taught to re-strengthen the science background of going-to-be engineering students. The subjects of Communication Skills and Human Values & Professional Ethics prepare students towards interpersonal dealings and life skills.
