Electrical Engineering Department

Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering at Engineering College Tuwa, Godhra. The Electrical Engineering Department established in the year 2009. At present, the department offers undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering with 60 intakes. The Department has well equipped laboratories in the area of Electrical Machines, High Voltage & Power Systems, Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Measurements and Power Electronics & Drives. Department has software computing facilities with latest software and high speed Internet connection to support modelling and simulation work.

Students of the department are offered good placements through on/off campus selection. Many students are getting opportunities in the PSUs, national/international institute and laboratories for research and higher studies.

HOD of Department

Welcome to the department of Electrical Engineering at Engineering College Tuwa. The department works with the objective of providing quality knowledge of Electrical Engineering for technical careers, addressing critical challenges faced by the Industry, society and the academia. Perhaps even more important is our unceasing commitment to our students, helping them to learn, grow, develop, and achieve their goals in their pursuit to excel in their professional career.

Department of Electrical Engineering is one of the oldest departments in Engineering College Tuwa with highly qualified faculty members and technically sound supporting staffs. The department was established in 2009.

The department faculty work with excellent team spirit in different technical team like Power System, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Modern Electric Drives, Control System, Renewable Energy, Electrical Measurement & Instrumentation, Power Generation, Communication systems, Electronic gadgets, Programming of Microcontroller, Digital System Design etc., which leads to key research publications in these areas. The department strives to provide a conducive environment for the students to develop analytical and practical skills and apply them to real world problems. To motivate the students the department organizes regular training programs in state of art software & hardware, arranges workshops, technical events, seminars & industrial visits.
