Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure compliance with the provisions of Regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging and also to monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in ECT. This is to bring to the notice of all students that ragging is strictly prohibited in ECT. Any student of ECT indulging in any kind of ragging on campus or off campus, will be liable to be punished.
Ragging is now defined as an act that violates or is perceived to violate an individual student’s dignity. Following Supreme Court orders, a National Anti-Ragging Helpline was launched by the Indian government. Ragging in India commonly involves serious abuses and clear violations of human rights.
In response to campaign by Minister of Human Resources Development, Department of Higher Education, Government of India at the institute level Anti-Ragging Committee is formed as below.
An Anti-ragging committee consisting of following members is formed with immediate effect. All students of ECT (Fresh/Senior) are encouraged to immediately bring to the notice of the committee any incidence of ragging.

Confidentiality of the source will be maintained.
Each incident of ragging will be viewed seriousaly and strict disciplinary against student indulge in ragging will be taken.
